The expert advisor is a martingale robot in its essence. Entry, close and re-entry conditions are determined according to values given by an inclusive custom indicator. The indicator is a range counter. It will follow the price and counts the first moment the price touches pre-determined range lines. It will keep adding when the price keeps hitting new high range lines or new low range lines without touching any of the previous lines it passed (except the line it was just on).The moment it turns back and hit the bar below the bar it is on, the counter will reverse. The expert advisor will follow that counter and it will open a reverse position right after the counter hits a certain number. If the counter is positive, positions that will be opened will be short. If negative, positions will be long. The expectation of the robot is that the price will turn after it travels to a certain direction, hence the reverse position. Every time the price doesn’t turn back means it will keep crossing new lines and the counter will keep on growing. With every new count, the system will close the previous position at a loss and opens a new one in a martingale style. Since the martingale compounds every time and we don’t have infinite money, the program should stop this cascade at some point. If the price won’t turn as predicted in a certain counter value, the program will abandon the pursuit not opening new positions any further and wait for the counter to reverse for a new cycle. Orders will be put in place with an exactly range size TP and SL. Still, the program can’t leave closing and opening position action to them. The program should contain a superseding command that forces positions to open and close in case the TP and SL don’t work at required moment (because I experienced such problems before). Only 1 position will be open in any given time.
The EA will work on an MT5 platform.
