This EA’s purpose is to provide a testing tool for trendline based trading on mt4. The details are in the Specification1 and Specification2 attached files, below is an overview of the EA. The specification my not list some critical but standard elements that are needed to make this or any EA operational, so it is understood that the job will include the creation of these elements - without explicitly mentioning of them.

The EA should generate trades when the price crosses a trendline that is drawn on the chart manually by the user prior to running the EA. The direction of the trade should be based upon the color of the trendline. Green trendlines are buy triggers, red trendlines are sell triggers. The trendline is going to be close-ended so the beginning and end of the trendline will set the beginning and end of the period in which the trade is to be opened.

The EA should work for multiple trend lines drawn on the chart.

The EA should also have an option to enter only after the price comes back a specified amount equal to CB (come back amount) after an initial move of CA (cross amount) in the direction of the cross. CB, CA are of course variables that can be set prior to running the EA.

The EA should print a symbol (a small triangle) on the chart of the relevant color (green for buy, red for sell) to visualize the trades taking place.

The size of trades are set according to the money management rules as defined in the Specification2.txt file and should be a stand-alone part of the program included in the EA thru the include() function.

The system should have error checking and every time a trigger event takes place the system should make sure that there are no open positions. Stop-loss, take-profit, trailing stop loss and all relevant values should be hidden from the broker.
