Echelon EA is a powerful grid/martingale system that uses Bollinger Bands and the Stochastic Oscillator to identify precise trade entries. This Expert Advisor is designed for EUR/USD on M15 and M5 timeframes, but it can also perform well on other currency pairs due to its flexibility.

Echelon EA has been optimized for EUR/USD but also performs exceptionally on pairs like AUD/CAD and AUD/NZD.

Echelon EA provides a comprehensive set of customizable input parameters, divided into logical groups for easy configuration. Here's how each input works:

These inputs define the basic operational parameters for Echelon EA:

• Magic Number: A unique identifier (magic number) for trades placed by this EA. Ensures trades are tracked and managed without interference from other EAs or manual trades. 
• Slippage: The maximum allowable slippage (in points) for order execution. Higher values increase trade execution probability in volatile markets. Default: 10.
• Max Spread: A filter to prevent trades during high-spread conditions. If set to 0, this filter is disabled. Default: 0 (disabled).
• Min Equity: Ensures the EA will not trade if account equity falls below this value (in account currency). Useful for risk management. Default: 0 (disabled).
• Enable Buy/Enable Sell: Toggles the ability to open buy or sell trades. Disable either option to restrict trading to one direction. Default: true for both.

Control position sizing and trade volume with these inputs:

• Use Money Management: If enabled, the EA calculates the lot size dynamically based on the account balance and RiskPercent.
• Risk Percent: Defines the percentage of account balance to risk per trade (used when DynamicLots is enabled).
• Lot Size: A static lot size used for all trades when DynamicLots is disabled.
• Lot Size Multiplier: Applies a multiplier to lot size in grid/martingale strategies for increasing trade volume.
• Grid Step: The distance (in points) between grid levels. Determines how far apart trades in the grid are placed.

Configure take-profit, stop-loss, and equity stop settings:

• TP Mode: Choose between two take-profit calculation modes:
  • Take Profit in Points: Take profit is set as a fixed number of points.
  • Take Profit in Percents: Take profit is calculated as a percentage of the current price.
• Take Profit: The desired take-profit value based on the selected TP Mode.
• Use Equity Stop: Enables an equity-based stop-loss that closes all trades if account equity drops below a defined percentage.
• Equity StopLoss (in %): Specifies the percentage of account equity for the equity stop-loss.

The EA uses Bollinger Bands and the Stochastic Oscillator for trade entries. These settings control indicator parameters:

• Bollinger Bands:
  • Period: The number of periods used for Bollinger Band calculations.
  • Deviation: The number of standard deviations for the upper and lower bands.
  • Bollinger Bands Period: The timeframe used for Bollinger Band calculations.
• Stochastic Oscillator:
  • %K Period: The number of periods for the %K line.
  • %D Period: The number of periods for the %D line.
  • Slowing: The slowing factor applied to the %K line.
  • Stochastic Up/Down Line: Overbought and oversold levels for the oscillator
  • Stochastic Time Frame: The timeframe for Stochastic Oscillator calculations.

Control when the EA is allowed to trade:

• Use Timer: Enables or disables time-based trading restrictions.
• Start Hour/Start Minute: Defines the start time for trading (platform time).
• End Hour/End Minute: Defines the end time for trading (platform time).
• Use Local Time: If enabled, the EA uses your local computer time instead of platform time for the timer.
