Gold Seeker is a meticulously designed algorithm that identifies market liquidity zones and places pending orders. It operates effectively across almost all timeframes, but it performs exceptionally well on the 15-minute timeframe. Every pending order is protected against spread and slippage.
Gold Seeker uses a tight 20-pip stop loss and employs a trailing take profit to minimize risk and maximize the potential of each trade. The system is build on the very popular and proven strategy. Gold is highly suitable for this strategy due to its significant volatility.
Backtesting: Simply run on XAUUSD using the default settings, or adjust the lot size or risk percentage. You can also manually change the trade frequency to see different results. The News Filter does not support back-testing. Back testing simply helps us learn and alter the EA's behavior in order to better the results, which is why live results often differ from backtest results. I run the algorithm without a news filter for this reason. If you prefer to add a news filter, follow these steps:
1. Use this link: https://nfs.faireconomy.media
2. Go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisor
3. Add the link in the appropriate field.
This will help you integrate the news filter into your algorithm.
Setup:
Open XAUUSD/Gold Chart and switch to 15M timeframe.
Add Gold Seeker EA into chart. The Only Change you can do Lot size or Risk Percentage. Default I'm using Risk Percentage 5
Inputs (Default Settings):
- EA Time Settings: Use Default Settings
- Strategy: Model I (Right Now Best For Gold)
- Trading Mode: Normal means only one active order in 24 hours, but aggressive means as many active orders as it can find.
- Stop Loss/ Take Profit (Pips): Stop loss fixed 20 pips and take profit 50 pips
- Slippages: Default 30 but if you want you can adjust it.
- Max Spread: maximum spread for pending orders to be allowed
- Magic Number: Use Default Number for Gold Pair
- Order Comment: Default .
- Trailing's: Trailing Start and Stop 5 Pips
- Manual Lot Size: Default 0.01 for $100
- Risk Percentage: All My Backtest and Live Results are using 5% .
- Market Opening & Closing Day: By Default True
- News Filter: Default False. If you wish to activate, be sure to include the Forex Factory link which shared at the top.
- Show Panel: Default it's false but Make it True to see EA and account Status
- Text Color: You can adjust all the color based on your Chart template.
