Well, you didn't notice this by accident, the default settings are mostly needed to pass the automatic MQL5 validator checks, otherwise the product cannot be published at all. Most of them are absolutely pointless, it's just to avoid paying people who check them. Cost reduction. I still remember the times when people did the checks.

What you are describing is an innovative scheme used by advanced advisors. You have been conditioned to think that an advisor should only work on the chart it is launched on, but those are lower-level products. The MQL5 language, and even MQL4, allows for much more. Short version: The EA didn’t work after installation, didn’t work after reading the guide, and the developer’s comments were useless. Long version: I bought two EAs on MT5, so purchasing isn’t an issue for me. But when I saw the price of the paid version suggested by the author, I assumed the free version of the EA would work in the simplest way possible, and that support would be as helpful as possible. In reality, the STATIC mode gave me negative profits, and the DYNAMIC mode refused to work even after following all the guide’s instructions. When I wrote a comment asking the developer for help with the setup, the response was, “You just don’t understand how the EA works.” Then what are you here for? I’m not supposed to understand anything—at that price, your job is to attract buyers, isn’t it? Instead, the author chose to show off arrogance and disregard, just like most scam artists in the trading space. And for what reason? There are great products on MT5 that cost less and work right out of the box without any extra setup. The author doesn’t promise sky-high profits or completely safe trading. So what exactly is the basis for his attitude? I don’t get it. I'll try to come back after some time; maybe the situation will improve. For now: description completeness – 1 (useless), user experience – 1, support – 1.
