I am 100% convinced that technical analysis, support/resistance price action is 100% BS and only works in the short run (but ALWAYS loses in the long run)! IF there is a profitable long term trading solution I believe it is trading ONLY high impact news events that have a history of moving the market on those past releases of at least 50 points at min. I am not spending 1 more red cent on an EA unless you can show me profitable back test for at least the past 1 year. And preferably live forward test.
I believe the best approach to trading the news is to:
. 1 Only trade the high impact reports which have a history on the past releases of moving the market a min of 50 pips.
. 2. waiting at least 5-10 seconds after news to determine the likely direction market will go, and if wrong and it starts to move one direction but then in other it whipsaws quickly close position and double up in the opposite direction with no more then a 20 pip loss. So IF anyone can show me solid back test for the past 1 year of news trading, and preferably live forward test trading the news I am interested.
Also show me how this EA performed on the 8:30am CPI m/m report this morning, the CPI y/ythis morning at 4:30am which barely moved. the 8:00pm nsdusd official cash rate last night. and then the RBNZ Press Conference at 9pm last night which started to go down to then only spike up over 20 pips in less then a second. I'd like to see how your EA performed under these past few news event conditions and detailed history before I consider buying it.
