Hello,
This is the third time I have posted in relation to this job, the previous two developers have been unable to complete it to my specifications, so please only apply if you are an experienced developer.
I will send the full specifications to the chosen developer, as well as the most recent version of the code.
The section of the code that is causing the most problems is the part that relates to the trailing stop loss. My specifications state that when a trade opens, the stop loss is predefined as 2/3 * the distance between the close of the previous candle and the lower EMA(higher for a sell). This distance does not change. If the trade moves into profit by one point, the stop loss moves up (or down for a sell trade) by one point. It should trail price in this way constantly. Currently, when a trade opens, it closes within seconds, sometimes because the stop loss moves to the entry price, which I don’t want, and sometimes because I don’t know why.
Once a trade reaches a profit that is the same as the stop loss distance (1RR), half the trade is closed. The stop loss continues to trail in the way defined above.
There are also issues facing some time-defined logic, which the previous developers have been unable to solve.
My specifications include the implementation of time blocks. These are times where no trade can be placed, if there are open trades when a time block begins, they should be handled in the following way:
- if the trade is in profit, and the stop loss is below entry (above for a sell), the stop loss moves to the entry price. If price continues to move in profit, it will start trailing only once price moves in profit by the original stop loss distance.
- If the trade is in profit and the stop loss is above entry (below for a sell), no action is needed.
- If the trade is not in profit, it is closed immediately.
- No new trades can be opened during the specified time periods.
There are also some persistent issues with trade entries and the relationship between moving averages.
Some other issues may become evident once you start working with the code.
Please feel free to ask questions.
Many thanks
