Hi dear coders,
right now i am using an ea that is working almost perfectly, however i would like to add a feature to it.
As for now, the ea works ( open trades ) as long as auto trading is enabled.
What I would like you to do is :
- add an input named "NYSessionCloseTime"
- create two buttons : " START TRADING" and "STOP TRADING"
- display the trade status : " Trading is enabled " or " Trading is disabled "
The trading status should be disabled by default. The EA should only start to place trades when the " START TRADING " button is pressed ( besides the original algorythm of the ea ). The trading status should automatically be switched to off 2 hrs before NY closing time.
!!! VERY VERY IMPORTANT : when trading is switched off, only sending orders must be prohibited, but the ea must be able to manage the open trades.
The logic behind these changes is that right now the ea trades round the clock, but I have to change the pairs that it trades daily. In my timezone NY closes at midnight so i want the ea to stop trading the asian session or anything else until i check the pairs the next day and press the " START TRADING " button. The reason for the " STOP TRADING" button is to be able to switch off the instances of the ea when news are comming.
I will attach the source code of the ea only after discussions ( don't want it to be public ).
