Multi Strategy Dashboard EA

Automated trading

The EA opens trades at the beginning of a new candle. To test strategies faster uncheck the 'Visual mode' box on the Tester window.


4 main strategies.

  1. Crossover: Looks for trend reversals. This strategy is good at identifying markets that have reached a top or bottom and a reversal is expected. 
  2. Breakout Level: Looks for range breakouts. It attempts to buy or sell when a major resistance or support is broken, and there is an increase in volatility supporting that push.
  3. Pullback: Opens trades following the trend. It works in markets that are trending and are doing the usual Elliot waves movements. When price recedes in an upward movement it will attempt to buy.
  4. Carry: It works in all market conditions. With this strategy, we aim to take advantage of positive swap. To find your broker's swap rate, right-click on the instrument/symbol in the Market Watch window, click on Specifications, and look for Swap long and Swap short. It is recommended to use the 'Only Long' or 'Only Short' positions in the Expert's Common tab. The Carry strategy can have up to 15 positions open and, you can control the risk by setting the lots for each position.

For the first three strategies, each time the Multi Strategy Dashboard EA closes a losing trade it will use the next lot size in the series to open a new trade. Users can choose the lot size for subsequent trades.

The Multi Strategy Dashboard EA works on any time frame and financial instrument that your broker offers.

Great product in all its aspects of functionality, robustness and (real) results. It has new features and a very robust algorithm. Possibility of establishing the strategy according to your trading model and choice of sequential lots. Apart from that, a great product and great design for manual trading; in this sense it is also dual since it allows to operate in manual or in EA mode. All the following changes affect the Carry strategy for automated trading:

It now leaves an incremental space between each consecutive trade.

Previously the ATR Trailing Stop was activated when there was only one opened position. This is no longer the case. The EA will calculate the average entry price for all the opened positions (taking into account the lot sizes used). This gives more flexibility when using the ATR TS.

Previously when setting the ATR TP to 0 the EA would still place a Take Profit when there were multiple positions open. With the current version if you set the ATR TP to 0 the EA will no longer place a Take Profit. The idea behind these changes is that you are now encouraged to use the ATR TS so you can let your winning trades run longer.

An FX Currency Strength meter has been added to the MSD EA.
The speed buttons for backtesting have been removed to create space for the Plot LINES button.
The MSD EA has the option to place Trade Lines (Buy, Sell, Close, Alarm). When the price reaches the trendline, the EA will perform the appropriate actions.
There is a new '?' button on the dashboard which provides information about the various elements of the MSD EA.
Closing the platform and reopening it does no longer modify opened trades.
The profit boxes on the dashboard now reflect the trades' commission for raw spread brokers.
On the Simplified version of the MSD EA, the profits displayed are for the symbol where the MSD EA was attached to.
For the Market Sessions indicator, you now have the option to use different styles for the boxes.

Carry: It works in all market conditions. With this strategy, we aim to take advantage of positive swap. By holding positions during a long time, we can solve the spread problem. You can check the current interest rates from this website: https://www.earnforex.com/interest-rates-table/. We buy the currency with a higher interest rate of the two in the pair. It is recommended to use the "Only Long" or "Only Short" positions in the Expert's Common tab. The Carry strategy can have up to 15 positions open and, you can control the risk by setting the lots for each position.

Autotrading has been simplified.
The consolidation strategy averages down when price goes the wrong way. The user can choose the lot sizes for the subsequent trades in the inputs tab. This strategy can only have a maximum of 4 trades open at the same time.
The ATR Trailing Stop can now be used with the consolidation strategy, but it will only work if there is one trade open. The consolidation strategy ignores the ATR SL that the user has input, it will calculate and place its own SL so the 4 trades can fit accordingly.
