Installing Data from tickstory & Backtesting advice

Hi.

I have been using tickstory data with some success.  I am now having difficulties getting good quality data for backtesting 2 EA's that I have.

I would like some assistance with backtesting and help sorting out the data to ensure it is high quality.  

Kindly advise if you can assist.  It would be helpful if you can explain complex ideas so I can understand.  This should only require a couple of hours.
