This strategy is build on for buy side - candle sticks crossing above high of last three candles on 10 min chart and confirming with an additional condition of close price of current candle (that moved above max of last three highs) is also higher than or equal to 5 day moving average close on daily chart. For sell side- candle sticks crossing below low of last three candles on 10 min chart and confirming with an additional condition of close price of current candle is below or equal to 5 day moving average close on daily chart.
1. Buy side condition:
Buy signal - When an 10 min candle close of index (e.g. India50) crosses above 10 min candle high (max of all highs) of last three periods and when the close is higher than or equal to 5 day simple moving average of close, enter a trade between 9:25 am India time to 15:06 India time for 10 lots
Exit (sell) signal - When an 10 min candle close of index (e.g. India50) crosses below 10 min candle low of last three periods
Stop loss: 0.5%, trailing stop loss = 0.5%, target profit = 5%
2. Sell side condition:
Sell signal - When an 10 min candle close of index (e.g. India50) crosses below 10 min candle low (min of all lows) of last three periods and when the close is lower than or equal to 5 day simple moving average of close, enter a trade between 9:25 am India time to 15:06 India time for 10 lots
Exit (buy) signal - When an 10 min candle close of index (e.g. India50) crosses above 10 min candle low of last three periods
Stop loss: 0.5%, trailing stop loss = 0.5%, target profit = 5%
3. For every buy and sell execution, alert message to be delivered on mobile phone
4. positions (both buy and sell) are to be placed and closed at last trade price of the candle + buffer of 0.5 (500 pips)
5. Fresh positions (buy and sell) are entered only between 9:25 to 15:06 pm. Positions are exited when exit condition is met anytime
6. MT4 code base to be shared and backtesting to be done for the strategy.
