Modify candle patterns indicator

I bought a multi-timeframe candle pattern scanner which identifies pinbars, Engulfings, morning and evening stars, pin bars, tweezers, three line strikes and inside bars. I wanted to make an EA of it, with the scanner able to write signals to a file that the EA will trade. but i cannot backtest it because of the multifunctionality of the scanner. 

I then got the developer of the scanner to give me the mql4 code required for detecting the candlestick patterrns. However, he also told me a developer still has to work on it to make it usable for my purpose. In simple terms i want to redevelop the indicator in such a way that i can use it by itself or integrate it into an EA which i can backtest it based on my rules for trading.
