Progression systems Test

Description:

Multiple progression systems strapped onto a moving average crossover system.

Entry:

Buy:

• MA2 is above MA1

• Previous trade has hit TP or SL

Sell:

• MA2 is below MA1

• Previous trade has hit TP or SL

Exit:

• Hits TP or SL

Progressions systems:

Martingale:

• For every loss, multiply lot size by X

• Reset lot size after win

Paroli:

• For every win, double lot size/ add 1 base lot size

• Reset lot size after X consecutive wins

• Reset lot size after loss

D’alembert(standard/reverse):

• For every win, decrease lot by 1 base lot size(e.g. 0.1, 0.2, 0.3)

• For every loss, increase lot by 1 base lot size(e.g 0.3,0.2,0.1)

• (reverse version reverses ‘increase’ and ‘decrease’)

Settings:

• MA1 (150,simple,close)

• MA2 (10,smoothed,close)

• TP points (200)

• SL points (200)

• Points between MA1 and MA2 before trades start opening (0)

• Base Lot size fixed or % risk of balance (fixed, 0.01)

• Stop opening trades after next win yes or no (no)

Progression system settings:

• Switch between Martingale, Paroli, D’alembert, reverse D’alembert.

Martingale:

• Lot multiplier (2)

Paroli:

• Fixed lot increase(base lot)/lot multiplier (fixed)

• Multiplier (n/a)

• Reset lot after X losses (3)

• Standard or reversed (reversed)

Money management system settings:

Description:

After the balance increases by X times, a % is locked. This means that processes starts over again using the free % of the balance to calculate lot size and that this free balance is all that can be lost in one go by the martingale system. If the free % balance is lost, divide the locked balance by X and take 1 portion to restart all processes again(both money management system settings and normal settings). After it has once again multiplied the new balance by X amount again, add locked balance back onto new free balance before taking a locked percentage of this new total and repeating.

• Balance has to increase X times before lock in (6)

• Lock in X % (66.666%)

• Divide locked % by X portions (2)

• Add X % of locked balance back on before repeat(100%)
