Indicators:


1.MACD (12,26,9)


2a. EMA 1 (5)

2b. EMA 2 (10)


3. RSI (14)




BUY when all three have occured within 8 candles:


  1. MACD Line crosses over/above MACD line_Signal in negative territory

  (MACD Line and MACD line_signal values are both <=0 during crossover)

&

  1. EMA 1 crosses over/above EMA 2

&

  1. RSI crosses over/above 40



SELL when all three have occured within 8 candles:


  1. MACD Line crosses under/below MACD line_Signal in positive territory

(MACD Line and MACD line_signal values are both >=0 during crossover)

&

  1. EMA 1 crosses under/below EMA 2

&

  1. RSI crosses under/below 60


Look back period: 8


Indicator signals and entries are based off their value(s) at the CLOSE of each candle


No matter what indicator crosses first, the strategy will look back 8 periods(i.e. candles,bars) to confirm if the other 2 have met the conditions before giving BUY or SELL signal.


All trades should have a 20 pip stop loss

EA not opening sell orders in strategy tester 30+ USD
I have a custom EA that works fine in the live market trading, but when doing a back test in the strategy tester , it does not open sell orders. There are no errors or warnings; it just doesn't open sell orders. I've checked every possible reason that might be the reason why it does not open sell orders, but I can't find anything, especially since it works fine in the real market and it opens both buys and sells
