Utilizing the MQL5 MetaEditor Wizard, I created an Expert Advisor, having the following Signal indicators:
I was able to optimize the EA and reached a backtest with the following specifications:
I was able to reach a profit level of 30K, as indicated below.
However, the Bot is not without faults and following the backtest, I started a forward test with real live data and the results were not so great. The EA took a Sell order when the conditions were not so favorable and it resulted in a loss. This happened several times with three Forex pairs (EURUSD, GBPUSD, and USDJPY).
Specifically, the EA took a sell order, following an accumulation phase, which followed by a significant drop, resulting in a reversal. the lost factor was also significant.
During the initial Backtest, the EA took some very nice buys and sold at a pretty good location, resulting in profits, as indicated in the Backtest results posted above.
I would like to request for an enhancement of the existing Expert Code (an override, if possible) that generates the Buy and Sell Signals to avoid potential loses due to false signals that the EA automation is not aware of.
I can share the EA's existing code and the Set and INI files that generates profits for further evaluation, if necessary.
