1HOUR STRATEGY -EURUSD XMPLE

Strategy: Moving Average Crossover
Indicators:
- 50-period Simple Moving Average (SMA)
- 200-period Simple Moving Average (SMA)

**Entry Rules:**
1. Buy Signal: When the 50-period SMA crosses above the 200-period SMA on the 1-hour chart, it generates a buy signal.

2. Sell Signal: When the 50-period SMA crosses below the 200-period SMA on the 1-hour chart, it generates a sell signal.

**Risk Management:**
- Set a stop-loss order at a predetermined level below the entry point for buy positions and above the entry point for sell positions.

**Position Sizing:**
- Risk no more than 1-2% of your trading capital on any single trade.
**Time Management:**
- Trade during the most liquid forex market hours, typically overlapping sessions like the London and New York sessions.
**Example Trade:**
1. You see that on the 1-hour EUR/USD chart, the 50-period SMA crosses above the 200-period SMA, generating a buy signal.
2. You enter a long position at the current market price, which is 1.1500.
3. You set a stop-loss order at 1.1450, which is 50 pips below your entry.
4. You also set a take-profit order at 1.1600, which is 100 pips above your entry.
5. You risk 1% of your trading capital on this trade, which is $100.
6. You closely monitor the trade, and if the price reaches your take-profit level, the trade automatically closes with a profit of $100 (assuming a standard lot size of 100,000 units).
7. If the price hits your stop-loss level, the trade closes with a loss of $50.

Remember that this is a simplified example, and real-world trading involves additional complexities, including slippage, spreads, and market conditions. It's crucial to backtest your strategy and practice on a demo account before trading with real money. Additionally, continuously assess and adapt your strategy based on your performance and changing market conditions.
