I am seeking some assistance with a particular task I've been struggling with lately: I need to convert a MetaTrader 5 (.mq5) file into a MetaTrader 4 (.mq4) file.

The .mq5 file is a trading algorithm that has been doing well in my testing on MT5. However, I'm now needing to use it on the MT4 platform due to certain broker-related constraints.

I understand that the MQL5 and MQL4 languages have significant differences, especially in terms of object-oriented programming, order handling, and indicator accessing methods. I've tried to convert the code myself, but unfortunately, I've found it quite challenging due to these differences and my limited experience with MQL4.

Would anyone in this amazing community be willing to guide me through this process or provide any resources, tutorials, or advice that might help? I'm eager to learn, and I'm sure others could benefit from this discussion as well.

EA not opening sell orders in strategy tester 30+ USD
