Modify EA: Conditional Supertrend Trailing Stop EA

DEFINITIONS

A Take Profit, (T/P) specifies the exact pre-calculated price at which to close out an open position for a profit. If the market does not reach the specified threshold, the take-profit order does not get filled.

Take Profit distance: this will be the distance in points between a Trade Entry (T/E) and T/P.

A Trailing Take Profit (TTP) is a Take Profit that is converted to a trailing stop once the Take Profit price is reached.  

Specification

MQLTA MT5 Supertrend Trailing Stop EA (based on a mix of price averaging and ATR) is an expert advisor that manages stop-loss of your orders. In particular, this expert advisor uses indicator MQLTA MT5 Supertrend Line for stop trailing purposes.

To modify  MQLTA MT5 Supertrend Trailing Stop EA the developer will:

• ·          add a new variable in input parameters of EA, a Take Profit  trigger, its value, in points, that can be changed and updated; 
• ·          instruct the EA to convert Take Profit into a MQLTA MT5 Supertrend Line once the Take Profit price is reached;                
• ·          instruct the EA not to start trailing immediately after launch on a chart, but to wait until triggered.  EA must hold back until triggered;
• ·          enable EA the notifications feature — if true, the EA will send notifications upon triggering and not-triggering;    nn

The resulting modified and conditional MQLTA MT5 Supertrend Trailing Stop EA will be named MQLTA MT5 Supertrend Trailing Take Profit EA. It will not function until a trade is both in profit and Take Profit price is reached.

Developer will provide the Source file of the modified EA upon the completion. The Source files of EA and the Indicator are attached. The additional and supplementary information will be provided in the discussion stage.
