Gain Collector MT5
collects the market order's results of all or selected trades on a single terminal or on multiple terminals of the same account number.
The selection can be configured according to Magic Numbers and/or Symbols, so that the Magic Numbers and/or Symbols that are not selected remain unconsidered.
What is it useful for?
For example, when several experts trade on one single terminal and/or manual trading also takes place.
Experts have different strategies and SL/TP. In particular, some experts let the trades run relatively far into positive area, only to later possibly close with a loss at the Stoploss level. Some Experts even don't utilize Stoploss limits, what could increase the risk significantely.
The trader can intervene here by overlaying his own strategy with that of the experts using Gain Collector MT5 in order to optimize the result prospects or prevent large drawdowns.
If several experts are working on the terminal, not all of them will usually be in the profitable area at the same time or even have losing trades. Nevertheless, the sum of all open positions can, on average, show an acceptable total profit, so that closing all open positions at the same time already meets the profit expectation of the Trader.
This is particularly achieved with the [BULK] function. The P/L of all trades is summarized and the average result determined is maximized using the virtual profit trailing function. In contrast to a static Takeprofit, the trailing stop is adjusted if the average result continues to rise.
If the [BULK] function is deactivated, individual trades can be selected according to magic number(s), symbol(s) and long and/or short positions.
Profit trailing is determined with two parameters:
- Minimum percentage of secured profit at trailing start (e.g. 75%)
- Maximum percentage of secured profit if profit continues to increase (e.g. 95%)
The trader can also choose between several trailing modes:
- "Exponential", "Percentage", "Static" and "Disabled"
If Gain Collector MT5 is not needed to be active or should be deactivated for a short time, it can be switched off using the [ON]/[OFF] button without having to deactivate the terminal's "Algo Trading", which then would also deactivate the active experts.
