This program for MetaTrader 5 calculates and displays the Margin Call and liquidation prices on the chart. It helps traders recognize critical price levels at which the account requires additional funds (Margin Call) or positions are automatically closed (Liquidation) to limit losses.
Functions of the Program
Calculation of Margin Call and Liquidation Prices:
- Monitoring all open positions on the trading account.
- Continuous calculation of the required margin based on leverage and position volume.
- Determination of two critical price levels:
- Margin Call Price: When this price is reached, the trader must deposit additional funds to the account to keep the positions open. If this is not done, liquidation will occur.
- Liquidation Price: When this price is reached, positions are automatically closed by the broker to prevent further losses.
Displaying Prices on the Chart:
Creation and updating of two lines on the chart:
Red dashed line: Indicates the Margin Call price.
Orange dotted line: Indicates the Liquidation price.
The lines are labeled with text to clearly indicate their meaning.
