predefined variable "Bars"

gives me the following error: '<' - open parenthesis expected this is the context: if ( Bars < 5 ) return ; If I remove this line there are 0 errors. It's a simple EA (MQL5) based on the famous pattern "IDNR4" (Inside day narrow range 4). thanks, kind regards Improperly formatted code edited by

strategy tester doesn't go all the way

I'm running some backtests and noticed that the strategy tester with some instruments (forex) works well, while with indexes (date range set from 1 jan 2019 to 2023) starts in 2021, as if didnt see data before that year. My data is fine and I can open a chart and see the chart until 2014. Anyone

how to see the closing price of previous candles with heiken ashi charts (whose closign price, as you know, is not the real one) ? thanks, kind regards
