Automatic Optimization in MT5?

Unable to update an array element?

I am trying to convert an indicator to an EA...all works well with one frustrating exception. One section of the routine sets an array element equal to a variable...eg: "myArray[myElement] = myVariable". myArray and myVariable are both defined as "double". This works perfectly fine in the indicator

Date arithmetic

I know I can determine the number of days between two dates by simply subtracting the dates...but how do I determine the date that is n-days from another date? TIA...Chuck

Strategy Tester - "no ticks generated"

Would someone please explain, or point me to an explanation of why the Strategy Tester needs to interact with my broker? My broker (MB Trading) frequently brings down their Demo system...why does this prevent me from testing?...I can't seem to test on the weekends either. If I've downloaded
