MT4 Upgrade stopped indicators working and stopped updating

MT4 upgrade has stopped some indicators working and and application was not updating. Had to rename operating profile and restart to get to going again. Indicators <Deleted> and <Deleted> not working even thought they are paid up. Market says i have to buy or new even though they are paid up. Every

DDE sample file not working - asks to start mt4.exe which is alredy running

DDE sample file with cell value =MT4|BID!EURUSD ? The application ( excel ) asks to start MT4.exe but this is already running. Windows 7 Pro SP1 Excel 2010 Any checks you can advise ? thanks
