This setup works well for scalpers and high-frequency traders who benefit from the tight spreads and direct market access. On the other hand, a standard account might be better for long-term traders or those with lower trading volumes. While the spreads are higher, there are no additional commission fees, which can be more cost-effective if you're not trading frequently. In summary, if you trade a lot and need the best execution speed and lowest spreads, go with an ECN account. If you trade less frequently and prefer not to pay per-trade commissions, a standard account might be the better choice.

this message is displayed on one IC TRADING platform, do you know what to do to remove this error? does it affect the operation of software on this platform?

you might need to install webview2 runtime on your system to get that to dissapear i have listed the steps to do so below. also The error means that some parts of the platform that need to display web content might not work correctly. However, it shouldn't affect basic trading functions unless they rely on web content. Install WebView2 Runtime: Visit the Microsoft Edge WebView2 download page.
Download the Evergreen Standalone Installer.
Run the installer to get WebView2 on your computer.
Check the Installation: Look in your system's installed programs list (in Control Panel or Settings) to make sure WebView2 is there.
Restart the MT5 Platform: Close the platform and open it again to see if the error message is gone.
Update the IC TRADING Platform: Make sure you're using the latest version of the MT5 platform, as updates might fix this issue.
