How do I use the strategy tester?

I must be really stupid because I can't figure out how to get the strategy tester to work. Every time I press "start" a second passes and then there is a toy beep. I don't understand this. As a newbie to algo trading I have also copied codes from YouTube videos but they also don't work for

Sometimes the trade is not visible

I have noticed that sometimes when I take a trade the trade is not visible on the chart. Is there a menu I can go to for the trade so I can close the position as it is not possible to close the position through the chart. This is on the desktop. The trade is visible in the app, but I want to see it

Is it easy to quickly switch between trading accounts?

For example, if I have two prop firm accounts or two brokerage accounts and I want to trade with them at the same time. It seems quite complicated now or I haven't figured out how to do it efficiently

How do I change TP for half the lots?

I bought 10 lots in one trade and I want to change the tp for half of the lots. How do I change that

Why doesn't the buy/sell line appear on the desktop?

On the MT5 desktop app, the line is not visible when I buy and sell something, at least when I trade indices. When I traded gold it showed the buy line on the desktop. And the line is visible on the iPhone app when I trade indices. Dektop image, no line appear Iphone image, line appear

Why can't I close partials?

I have only used *** free trial and MT4 and MT5. The first free trial I did was no problem closing partials. But all free trials after that are impossible to close partials. Is there a setting I forgot to do? When I have an open position and click "modify order" there is no "modify volume" setting
