Heiken Ashi EA MT5 is a fully automated trading system that takes Classic or Smoothed Heiken Ashi candles to the next level. It enters trades based on Heiken Ashi color changes, offering a highly customizable approach to fit different trading styles. The EA provides great flexibility, allowing you to select which Heiken Ashi candle (from the 2nd to the 10th) should trigger the first trade. Additionally, it includes a distance limitation feature to prevent excessive entries at similar price levels. A built-in Heiken Ashi trailing stop dynamically adjusts stop-loss levels based on past Heiken Ashi candles, helping to adapt to different market conditions. To improve trade quality, the EA includes Moving Average and MACD filters to reduce false signals. This EA comes with specially optimized set files for many symbols/instruments.

Advice: None of my EAs are miracle products capable of predicting the market. Instead, they are honest, well-coded expert advisors designed to win more than they lose. They do not employ martingale or grid strategies, which means their results won't consistently show an upward profit curve; there may be ups and downs. Success with them requires patience and discipline. My general recommendation is to test all the provided set files in your strategy tester. If you discover any interesting results, consider making a purchase. I regularly optimize all my EAs and release new set files twice a year. Before using the Heiken Ashi EA MT5, you must install the Heiken Ashi Smoothed Indicator for MT5 in MT5 \ File \ Open Data Folder \ MQL5 \ Indicators. Be careful NOT to place it in the Examples folder or any other subfolder, it must go directly into the Indicators folder.

Bought that EA due I have other EA but only scalp in 15m normal candles and Heiken ashi. What I saw the heiken ashi scalping was better than with normal candles but I wanted something for swing trades 1 hour up to Daily trades. Gonna check it but from far I know Heiken ashi stuff work better.

Rented a few days ago, this ea is extraodinary. As indicated in the description, it's not a magic tool, it doesn't read the future, but works with logic. The inputs are perfect. Like all inteligently programmed bots, this ea has both negative and positive days. But for the moment, it has made more positive than negative days. Around +10% in one week with a DD of 15%. What I really like about Heiken Ashi EA MT5 is its well thought-out risk management. He won't place SLs very far out in the hope of a market reversal. When he loses, he loses, but he doesn't lose much, but when he wins, he's magnificent. Another proof of the programmer's honesty: his very attractive price, no telegram group, no affiliation. He must make his money with forex and not with us :)

This EA is good in a trending market. However, it performs very bad in a consolidating market. A filter ought to be added to allow it place trades only when the market is trending.

Thank you Peter for your constructive feedback. A Moving Average filter is already in place and helps avoiding some consolidation, but there is no magic filter that will stop the EA and any other EA from opening trades during non-trending periods. I am always open to suggestions that will help improving the Heiken Ashi EA.

Hands down the best Heiken Ashi EA I've found on this marketplace. Couldn't find a strategy to get this thing working at first (on the 1H timeframe), but now I've figured it out. It works best on the 4H and the Daily timeframes when the market is trending, but I've also managed to get it to work in choppy markets using the classic HA candles by using a tight stop loss and intervening a bit when a new HA trend starts going against me by using price alerts and manually closing trades. That's a lot easier to do on the Daily timeframe than the 1 hour timeframe and below.

UPDATE (9/20/22): Just confirmed through the strategy tester that the new XAUUSD D1 strategy is profitable. And the addition of volatility-based TP's and SL's (ADR) made this EA a lot better.

Trend following EA, works, needs patience as the real profits are made when the markets are trending. Supplied Heiken Ashi indicator is awesome.

Heiken Ashi EA MT5 has been updated with 3 important changes that will improve the EA's usability and effectiveness.

1. Until now the Heiken Ashi EA MT5 was opening the first opposite direction trade at the opening of the second different color Heiken Ashi candle. Now you can select the number of the Heiken Ashi (classic or smoothed) candle, that the first trade of the opposite direction will be opened, from the 2nd to the 10th.

2. A new setting will allow you to choose whether the Heiken Ashi EA MT5 will open the first trade when it is attached on the chart and in every next trading session (at Start Hour/Minutes), at the next candle (as it does now) or at the next opposite signal. This way you will be able to avoid exhausted signals that are near to their end.

3. Finally a new Heiken Ashi candles trailing has been added, that can trail your trades, placing the SL of each buy trade at the bottom of any previous heiken ashi candle body and of each sell at the high of any previous heiken ashi candle body, moving one candle upwards/downwards in every new heiken ashi candle. This new setting will improve how the Heiken Ashi EA MT5 will adapt to slow or fast moving markets.
