The basic strategy starts with Market order in counter trend, but you can change it, in others strategies trend following.

Recommendations

  • The Recommended Timeframe depends on your settings, but you can use M5, M15 and all others timeframes with the appropriate settings.
  • The Expert can go on EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD and USDCAD, but also in others with the appropriate settings.
  • An Ecn broker is always recommended
  • A low latency vps is always recommended.
  • The recommended Leverage and deposit depends on settings.

Dark Venus Settings

  • Magic Number: ID number of the orders.
  • Max Spread: maximum spread to trade.

Money Management Settings

  • Lots: number of lots if the money management option is disabled.
  • Money Management: if true enables the money management option. 
  • Risk Percent: if the money management option is enabled, it indicates the risk percentage.

Indicators Settings

  • Enable Bollinger Bands: if true, use Bollinger Bands indicator for entry signal
  • Bollinger Bands Strategies: Select the strategy to use
  • Moment of the Signal: Decide whether the signal will be executed on the current bar or on the close of the previous bar
  • Bollinger Bands Period: Period for bollinger bands indicator
  • Bollinger Bands Deviations: Standard deviation for bollinger bands
  • Bollinger Bands Price: Price for Bollinger Bands
  • Bollinger Bands Timeframe: Timeframe for Bollinger Bands

Trading Hour

  • Enable Time Filter: if true enables the time filter
  • Trading Start Hour: operating start Hour
  • Trading Start Minute: operating start minutes
  • Trading Stop Hours: operating end Hour

  • Close Out of hours: close all orders at the end of the timetable.

      I downloaded it two weeks ago and tried it on a demo account before trying it on live accounts. So far I have been profitable especially on thursdays and fridays but struggle on other days. Today is friday and my 100usd is now 180 usd as I write. Will keep checking and update.

      Ive been testing this bot for months, ive wrote down 100 trades it took just to compare, thing is it takes more trades on demo then it does live, even with the same settings, there is a solution to that but isnt an easy one so i will just continue to run it on live , for now, I am also wandering as ive had it downloaded and been using for quite some time. Is it mine forever since ive downloaded it or if the owner deletes it ill it still work? Or what if owner decides to update will it uppdate the downloaded file i have? i hope not.

      Also STRATEGY TESTER IS FAKE..it is NOTHING like live or even demo for that matter, so those of you who are using strategy tester or optimization it is no where near the same results as demo or even live. I have over 25 different dark venus files saved that i changed the inputs and let the bot run on demo for a week. A long time to get it perfect, exactly how i want it, you got to do alot of testing before running it live dont just think you can download it and expect profit then get mad t the owner cause you lose is funny LOL.

      I have now run the bot in backtesting and it has achieved really good values. The bot is now running on an FTMO account with adjusted settings and is constantly increasing the account balance. From time to time it triggers the set stop limit (85% FTMO daily limit), but the next day I let it run again. Over a longer period of time, it makes up for the stoploss and is profitable. Good bot, which I will use for longer.

      This is a very good EA for free on MT4. High frequency in trading. I can also use it for 1 min chart. There are a few strategies to choose from trading based on Bollinger Bands. You will need to let the EA run until all your positions are closed by the EA before you stop the automatic trading, or else you can make great losses if you stop in between. I am testing it on EURUSD and Gold. Results are commendable if you do it correctly. I guess you should test it on different instruments with the different strategies available. This EA can be greatly improve by following the trend instead of always buying when the price is heading down in waves all the time, this may errode your free margin greatly and compile your interrim losses on the way. I guess if you have a large account of say 50K and above will be excellent to make good money.
