The Go Long EA was designed to follow a really simple strategy. Many traders are seeking for the next super complex algorithm, while in reality the most basic concepts are the ones that work best. One of these basic concepts is the concept of growing economy. In theory (and the past has definitely proven this so far) the worldwide economy is always growing. In practice this means that some financial markets/symbols/products, such as index or stock CFDs, benefit from this.
So why not just buy these CFDs and benefit? Unfortunately most brokers charge a lot when holding positions over night. Therefore it is usually impossible (or simply not profitable) to just buy and hold index or stock CFDs. So the answer is intraday trading to avoid the rollover costs. While being a real hustle when done manually, this is where automation comes in handy. The Go Long EA will buy and close every single day at a specific time.
Low trading costs are still super important. If your broker has a extremely high spread or commission for example this EA will not be profitable.
Note: Using this EA is of course only necessary if you plan to make use of leverage. If you just want to invest long term go check out ETFs ;)
Note 2: The default inputs are NO recommendation and I do not recommend any specific settings. I do not know what will work best in the future. Please use the free demo to test the program (before buying!!) in the strategy tester to find the settings that you feel comfortable with.
