If the volatility between 20:00 and 4:00 is not high enough in the GMT2/3 time zone, the EA may need to wait for several working days before opening an order. This is normal. If you want the EA to trade more orders, adjust the 110 volatility parameter to 80 or lower. However, as the number of orders increases, stability will decrease.

Top Trend Basic EA, before the birth of Top Trend, there was already a Top Trend Basic EA , which traded well on GBPCAD, but may not be very adaptable to other products. After many changes, a Top Trend that can support more products was produced based on Top Trend Basic, so Basic became less important to me, so I decided to share it. Top Trend Basic EA is a trend EA. Any upward or downward momentum will have a time of exhaustion. When this exhaustion occurs, a new trend will come. Based on this market phenomenon, I developed this EA. It will not enter the market in the middle of an upward or downward trend, which is too unsafe. It will enter the market at the beginning of a new downward or new upward trend. It sounds a bit exciting, and in fact, its performance is really good.   The EA uses the exhaustion point of the RSI upward momentum as the short position, and the exhaustion point of the RSI downward momentum as the long position. It always opens positions at the top and bottom positions, and never chases the ups or downs in the middle position, thereby obtaining a sufficiently safe entry point.

Please note: it only places one order at a time, each order has a stop loss, an average of 3 transactions per day in a year, and the order is held for about 4 hours. There is no Martingale, no grid, and other dangerous ways to lose all the principal. Martingale and grid may grow straight for a period of time, and then quickly explode.  

We see that there are many EAs in the market that use AI for overfitting. The test looks good, but the real market is losing money. These are not what we want. What we want is an honest EA. An honest EA always grows in twists and turns. The straight upward curve of fitting does not exist here. You need to accept a part of the retracement.

The setting of stop loss is crucial to reduce the drawdown. EA sets four levels of stop loss protection. The first level: dynamic stop loss. The dynamic stop loss is built-in and does not need to be set. Usually, a small loss will result in a position being closed, which is the most common stop loss. Using a small stop loss EA in exchange for steady growth is the design concept of this EA. The second level: the limit stop loss is 600 micro points, which is the highest stop loss that may be triggered in a very small number of cases. The third level: Smart stop loss is 400 micro points. You need to set Smart stop loss to true, so that when the limit stop loss occurs, the stop loss is executed at 400 micro points instead of 600 micro points. The fourth level: virtual stop loss is 800 micro points. The virtual stop loss only works at 0-1 points and is almost never triggered.
