Backtesting

Setup

• Double click the default 'FIXED_LOTS' input to select a MM / Risk Factor, else fixed lots are used
• Choose a recovery rate
• Add your broker's forex pair name prefix / suffix if it uses them
  
  

Backtesting is quite compute-intense as we're dealing with so many strategies

For thorough testing, use 'Every Tick Based on Real Ticks', but this can take 2.5 hours with default settings

For speed run from 2018 with 1mOHLC modelling quality for similar results, or set 'Use [Strategy X]?' to 'false' in the input section for all except the one(s) you want to test with 'based on real ticks'

Strategies in review

Please note, many of the strategies use controlled grids.

I agree blind martingale grids will blow your account, which I why I don't use them.

My approach is to create flexibility while keeping grids within strict limits, so we get the best of both worlds.

With a combination of maximum orders, a preference for averaging over martingale, flexible TPs and SLs, the approach is to 'write off' failing trades with controlled losses, instead of trading into infinity.

It's with a controlled and safe approach and incredible strategy diversification we're able to achieve a 1:20 backtest RR ratio.

Why am I selling?

I've been obsessed with combining results in one backtest.

Developing and emulating several strategies at once I thought, why not create a product that blows everything else out of the water, and combine all these strategies into one, diversifying against losses?

With my unique approach to trade management, I wanted to prove you can trade with EAs without history reading or gambling.

I open it up to the public for a limited time to pay back the past two unpaid years I've spent working on it - as you can see from the signals I don't need sales long-term, but it'd be nice to provide extra support for my family right now :)

Risk Management

Please note there is no perfect bot, and all bots take losses. With all strategies the risk management has been well thought through, and safety has been selected but with that in mind, you can set the Ultimate Bot to very high risk, but recovery from these losses will take longer, and of course past results can't be guaranteed in future.
