Hi f2011, Can you create an Bollinger Band MQ5 indicator that alerts me when the upper or lower band is hit. Once alerted, I don't want it to keep alerting me as it moves in and out of the band, so I need a configurable timer to start before it alerts me again. I also want to be able to add the message and choose the sound for the alert. How much and how long? Many thanks Colin

My strategy is quite simple. Its based on using the market direction on the M30 and shift to M5 to take trades. For instance if market direction is long on the 30 mins time from then EA will open long positions only. Develop an EA that uses an indicator to open trades. The EA is to have MM which will calculate the lot size in one of two ways. The first is by a multiple of the previous trade size or the second is by linear increase i.e to keep adding a number x, say 2 lots each trade etc. These will be until the desired total pip value is achieved, another words we will require a total pip amount as profit. the SMIMA indicator previously developed works great until a new bar occurs -- I use m15 bars. Upon attaching the SMIMA indicator, it paints the Signal and MA lines correctly, but when a new bar occurs, the indicator display is incorrect.
