Orders for Expert Advisors development - outdated

I need some addition funktions to my existing EA, for example a accustic alert for TP or SL. Is it possible to add a displayed text, which indicate the summary of the daily traded lot from the currency pair (where the EA is attached)

my expert advisor every time I compile keeps sayin 'return value of 'OrderSend' should be checked' , can some one please show me how to correct this please, that's all I need for my EA to start runing
