Specification
When new daily pivot points are drawn, when price reaches R1 it should place a sell, and place SL at R2 and TP at Pivot point. If the trade fails, it should re-enter a sell at R2, with SL at R3 and TP at R1 (and vice versa for buys, when price reaches S1 it should place a buy, and place SL at S2 and TP at Pivot point. If the trade fails, it should re-enter a buy at S2, with SL at S3 and TP at S1).
I wish for this EA to trade during the Asian and European session, and to avoid any entries during US trading session (If possible to have these as variables so you can choose which sessions the EA trades).
As for the position sizing, I wish for the EA to calculate the lot size to be used by calculating the SL distance (e.g. Daily R1 to R2 is 20 pips), and by utilising a percentage of the account balance (For example 0.20%), therefore with a SL of 20 pips and a $5000 balance, the max loss should be $10, so a position size of 0.05 should be used (If possible to have the money management set as a variable, so maybe risk 0.20% per trade, 0.50% per trade etc.)
The EA should place trades once per trading session, so as to not re-enter multiple times if price is ranging through the S1, S2, S3, R1, R2, R3 levels (If this again can be a variable that would be great, i.e allow max re-entry once, twice, thrice etc.)
I do have an mql4 file of the Pivot indicator if the coder needs it to perform this task, if the coder could add another variable to choose the Pivot type and have a choice of others as well (Fibo Pivot, Camarilla Pivot etc.)
It is also requested that the Pivot lines are plotted on the chart as the EA is in use so the trading can be observed visually as well
So the features of the EA that should be variable are:
- Pivot Point type (Standard Pivots, Fibonacci Pivots, Camarilla Pivots, Woodie Pivots)
- Timeframe to be used for Pivot Calculations (1H, 4H and Daily)
- Trading session (Asia, Europe, USA)
- Percentage of account to risk (0.20%, 0.50%, 1% etc)
- Max re entries allowed (Once, twice, thrice, etc.)
