A. Read and analyze fixed ratio money management material made famous by Ryan Jones, will be concise: 15 pages
B. With that as a source, come up with an algorithm to implement applicable formula. Also, you will need to double check the validity of an already established fixed ratio money management equation, by correlating it with the content in the book,
The equation:
N = 0.5 * [(1 + 8 * P/delta)^0.5 + 1]
N stands for optimal number of contracts to trade
P = accumulated profit to date
delta = the dollar amount that you would need before you could trade a second contract or another lot of stock. (This is not the same delta that is a measure of volatility.)
It will be more clear if you delve into the 15 page material. The math is NOT extremely complicated, but to be safe we want to make sure that anyone more capable in that area is analyzing and coming up with the algorithm.
We are not looking for coding. We just need help to put Ryan Jones' money management strategy into a clear IF THEN AND OR algorithm format, using the principles and the mathematics in RJ's book.
You will need enough math skills to understand the strategy as well as applicable formula shown in the reading material.
That is all. Will only pay if end result {proper algorithm} is achieved.
