Hi all.
I have learned that due to my EA reading from chart objects, it cannot be optimised, and that is obviously problematic for optimisation and back testing parameters.
So I have been met with 2 options it seems,
- have the EA rebuilt from scratch according to a slightly altered spec which doesn't rely on chart objects, or
- modify the existing EA
As I don't want to put the EA source code out here for random people to see, I will send it to interested parties to discuss further.
I don't really mind or care which action is taken, whichever is the easiest and most cost effective option for the selected developer.
The spec for creating the new EA is attached, which can also be used to modify the EA if you choose that route.
I've explained it as simply as possible so there shouldn't be any issues, but if you notice any technical problems that aren't covered in the spec, do let me know.

I have created a Timeframe Panel indicator in mql5. The indicator scans for all open charts on the platform and it creates a panel that contains all the open symbols and next to it it contains all the timeframes for each symbol.
