Specification
I would like to create a time based breakout EA. This is a pretty basic EA at it's core, with a few extra parameters.
Base settings
- Define the breakout range based on time. For example, 7-8am.
- Entry based on first break of the range. Must be able to define how many pips from the range.
- Stop loss on other side of the range. Must be able to define how many pips from the range.
- Target by multiples of the range. 1, 2, 3 x for example.
- Lot size - fixed or percentage of account.
Extra variables
- One trade per day true/false.
- Max/min opening range in pips filter.
- Multiple target options. If 2 targets, position size will be divided evenly.
- Breakout direction long/short/both.
- Breakeven after 1 x risk.
- ATR trailing stop.
- Moving Average filter to execute only long or short.
- Trading days of the week.
- Magic Number
