its a fairly simple method that im trying to do manually and seems to be working.


this is the basic method



buy when %k crosses above %d. or sell when %k crosses below %d. just cross, not cross and close. but only open one order per candle.

when there is an upward cross, close any sell orders that are in profit

when there is a downward cross, close any buy orders that are in profit.


use some percentage of all profits every period of time to partial close the biggest loosing trade (10% default).



 be able to choose between waiting a set length of time or a certain number of candles before partial close of losing trade.

EA not opening sell orders in strategy tester 30+ USD
I have a custom EA that works fine in the live market trading, but when doing a back test in the strategy tester , it does not open sell orders. There are no errors or warnings; it just doesn't open sell orders. I've checked every possible reason that might be the reason why it does not open sell orders, but I can't find anything, especially since it works fine in the real market and it opens both buys and sells
