I have designed an EA together with an in-built indicator. The EA is designed to work on the SP500 but can be extended to currency pairs too, provided appropriate settings are in place.
The EA uses a recovery mechanism for when there are false signals which do not reach the average move calculated by the in-built indicator. This means that when there is a losing trade, the EA will increase the lot size slightly to recover the previous losses + making a certain % of profits (% can be set)
The EA behaves very well most of the time; however, at times, the indicator provides a run of losing trades (false signals) which lead to an ever increasing lot-size increase which then in turn leads to major loss and failure of the recovery process.
I am looking for someone who can find a mechanism to avoid these big losses as you can see below in the circles.
Ideally the recovery should recover within a few attempts. I tried everything: limit the amount of loss, the number of attempts, limiting the lot-size increase; all of these countermeasures inevitably lead to more bad than good.
I need someone to think outside of the box who is willing to design a solution which works.
I have attached the ex4 files, the settings I used, and the last run of the strategy tested using the attached settings.
For the payment I put 30 USD because I do not want to deposit shocking amounts whilst then I cannot withdraw them if I wanted to and am forced to spend them.
The amount can be discussed depending on the amount of work this may require
