Specification
THIS PROJECT IS "INDICATOR"
The only components needed from each indicator
(screenshot of the components needed when manually placed on MT5, same indicator window, default settings for both indicators, stochastic main and signal line is NONE, MACD main line is NONE, no levels on MACD) we utilise only MACD signal line and Stoch. levels
Also, signals generated by the 6 stochastic levels (i.e. by MACD signal line attaining those levels) should imprint arrows on the chart based on the timeframe displayed. (by default, more signals will be generated in lower timeframes). also, apply 6 color codes for the 6 levels of signals) green for bulls, red for bears.
(this is a photo representation of the outcome. MACD signal line touching any of the 6 stochastic line should send a notification to trader and imprint an arrow for entry on the chart. Also, note that at lower timeframe the MACD may exceed all levels and return. this will warrant two options for generated signal. i.e. at MACD signal line reaching/touching stochastic levels and at MACD signal line returning to stochastic levels after crossing due to overbought/oversold movements). Template is attached for easy application on your chart.
RULES FOR TRADE DECISION
- when MACD "signal line" move into (and/or returns after passing) the selected levels, a signal will pop-up as alert, and arrow on the chart based on the selected timeframe (or timeframe that the indicator is laid). that means signal generation is applicable to all timeframes. MA can be used as further confirmation.
Stochastic levels and their definitions (while sending alerts)
STOC. levels SIGNAL
90 - strong sell
88 - Sell
85 - weak Sell
15 - Weak Buy
12 - Buy
10 - Strong Buy
MACD default settings, only signal line should show, no levels on MACD is required.
MODE OF ALERT
- terminal alert (desktop) (pop-up)
- MT5 mobile using METATRADER ID
- Phone SMS (if you can do it, fine, it is an advantage, otherwise ignore)
From the new indicator built
- we can adjust Stochastic oscillator settings
- we can adjust MACD settings
-choose MA (moving average) settings (100% optional if you cannot achieve it).
drop source code after work, no need for .dl files unless necessary.
I did something already (though with stoch. signal line) am willing to share source code (with .include files) with you.
so, do not work with stochastic signal line. see at attached file. also, remember template of manual placement is also attached.
