Specification
This EA is must work with 13EMA and 200EMA crossover and stochastic
Stochastic will execute trades only when its crossover on oversold and overbought.
Requirements Specification examples
Here is an example of Requirements Specification for the development of my FxGuru-EA, for MetaTrader 4.
1. The idea of the trading system is as follows: 13EMA and 200EMA crossover must perform and an opportunity for ONLY BUY on Bullish market and ONLY SELL on Bearish Market. Market entries are performed when stochastic crossover on oversold (Buys positions) and overbought (Sell positions)
2. Trend is determined based on 2 Exponential Moving Averages with the specified periods (13 and 200).
If the 13EMA crosses above the 200EMA, the trend is considered to be Bullish (13ema_fast > 200ema_slow) - The EA must allow BUY TRADES ONLY from stochastic.
If the 13EMA crosses below the 200EMA, the trend is considered to be Bearish (13ema_fast< 200ema_slow) - The EA must allow SELL TRADES ONLY from stochastic.
3. Trading Signals:
- ONLY Buy signals: the stochastic (K10,D3,S4), MA Method(Linear Weighted) - crosses only on oversold(level 20) on a bullish market. [ignore sell signals]
- ONLY Sell signals: the stochastic (K10,D3,S4), MA Method(Linear Weighted) - crosses only on overbought(level 80) on a bearish market. [ignore buy signals]
4. Positions are closed at opposite signals: Buy positions are closed at Sell signals, and Sell positions are closed at Buy signals.
5. Positions are opened at the market price, when a new bar emerges.
6. Additional filters for opening a position:
Maximum Spread ( 5 ) default.
Maximum open positions ( 3 ) default.
7. Close by Take Profit / Stop Loss — during position opening, a Take Profit level is set at 100pips by default and Stop Loss is set at 25pips by default.
9. Position management
TrailngStop is used to protect profit. TrailingStop is set to follow if profit exceeds the 30pips . If the price continues to move in the profit direction, Stop Loss should be trailed at the given distance. If none of protective orders (Take Profit or Stop Loss) triggers, or the position should be closed by a n opposite signal. No other position exit methods are available.
BreakEven is used to protect profit. Breakeven is set if profit reaches 20 pips by default.
For example, bullish trend occurs when 13EMA crosses 200EMA going up. Bearish trend is when 13EMA crosses 200EMA going down.
