Hi All,
Here is the problem I'm trying to solve:
I have an MQL5 EA that I designed using an MT5 demo account and thus on Central European Time server (GMT+2)... (Why are MT5 demo accounts on CET if all the brokers are on GMT or GMT+3?)
The EA works great on back and fwd test so I wanted to take it live and therefore I opened an account with a borker. The problem is that the brokers is on GMT+3 and therefore the candles opening and closing are different. As my EA is based on the candle opening this impacts radically the performance. It acually losses money when on GMT+3
I tried finding MT5 brokers that have their servers on CET but I coulnd't find any... Are there any?
So what I need is a work around to have the EA work on GMT+3. I'm open to suggestions I know one solution would be to create custom candles using H1 candles to build the H3 candles I need.
But I'm not sure how to link my EA to that as I use MA, Bollinger Bands and the Force idicator as entry conditions.
