hi,
i need a trading robot with the following specifics:
- input parameter: timeframe, volume fixed lot, stop loss (in pips), trailing profit (in pips), take profit (in pips)
- algo is based on price action:
BUY: if bar closing price is higher than the medium price of the range bar price (or 3/4 of the range bar price....maybe an input parameter?)
SELL: if bar closing price is lower than the medium price of the range bar price
I need to add the range bar price as an input parameter, so i can optimize that with backtesting for every simbol.
Please see the attachment file to better understand:
Bar 1: the closing bar price is not lower than the medium range bar price --> false sell signal
Bar 2: the closing bar price is lower that the medium range bar price --> sell signal
