Installing signals on a MetaQuotes-demo account

Unfortunately MacOs not support Signals Service.

Hello, I am absolutely new in this game, having managed to install Metatrader 5 on my Mac I am not able to connect to the signals service. When I open the signals tab under preferences it just states that I am not connected and I am provided with a link which takes me to this page, the signals section. However I cannot find any options for actually subscribing to a signal on my platform which is MetaQuotes-Demo. The screenshots I see in the help and how to connect to signals video tutorial does not fit with my screen picture. I have no "Main" tab, nor any signals tab in the control box. Could this be a "feature" of me running the Metatrader 5 under the Apple operating system ?
I am very happy for any help. From my understanding, signals are a vital part of the trading platform and not being able to connect to them is frustrating ;)
