Remote agent question

Hi all,

I want to connect with a friend of mine via metatester.  I want to share my CPU with him, so he can test with my computer also.  We have tried lots of things, but we can't connect.  Should we use our real IP? Someone tried to do this before us? 

By the way, I can connect my LAN computers without problems, but I can't do that with my friend.  I have been searching, but I haven't found nothing.

Just install MetaTester http://cloud.mql5.com , and use your external ip, or your vpn software ip (hamachi, comodo etc).

Go to windows firewall and add an exception to "MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester". If you are using a router open ports. Thats all :)

But I think that by doing this, you're going to share your resources with EVERYONE using MQL5 Cloud Network, or am I wrong?

If you want to share resources only with one person, can you do using the method you say?

Yes, here https://cloud.mql5.com  you just can download MetaTester, without MetaTrader 5, but its the same.

While you dont activate "Join MQL5 Cloud Network" in MetaTester, you arent sharing resources in Mql5 Cloud Network, only direct ip access is posible.
