$1000 is 1000 pips. Easy math.

For what?

It depends on the strategy you use. For normal trading using SL strategies $100 should be ok. But for averaging or martingale technique you should increase the capital size for 0.01 lot. But still it is risky if the market didn't turn in your favor.

Nope.

Anyway this poll doesn't make sense.

I agree with you.
Who would risk $100 for 0.01 order??? That's is a fall from 1.10 to 1.00 on EURUSD. Not talking about some other options you have listed like $2000. Unless you are taking about leverage 1:1 but you should mention this in the start.

Risking $100 for every 0.01 lot might be a good idea if a person do not want to lose any trades

lol $1000 equals to 10,000 pips assuming each trade is 0.01 lot

Lose few times and then know how to trade.
