MetaQuotes Software Corp. is pleased to announce the certification of the MetaTrader 5 trading platform by GBOT (Global Board of Trade) - the first international multi-asset class exchange from Mauritius. After fulfilling all the technical requirements of the African exchange, our company has been granted the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) status from GBOT and now our trading platform can connect to this exchange via a special gateway.
Certification of the trading platform by GBOT represents the next step within the global strategy oriented to the integration of MetaTrader 5 with stock exchanges around the world. According to the developers, they are currently working hard to create the gateways for several international exchanges. This will considerably increase the number of trading sites supported by the platform. "If your exchange does not support MetaTrader 5, this is a temporary issue!" - says Gaies Chreis, COO of MetaQuotes Software Corp.
"The interest in the African continent is currently growing," Mr. Chreis considers. "And traders who use our platform should be able to trade African commodities and currencies.
