I am sure that you are familiar with old American cliche the time=money.
In trading the above equation is expressed as:
profit or loss (money) = data(money)/time, where the time represents future and future is unknown.
As you can see you can eliminate data(money, candle) and will have viable mathematical expression:
profit or loss (money) = 0/time.
However, you can't eliminate time because you can't divide by 0!
profit or loss (money) = 0/0
No back tester will help you with the above moronic expression to extrapolate data(money) in the future(time)!
