Have you signed into the Community in your platform?

1. Check your firewall/antivirus settings to make sure that the Community service is allowed (not being blocked).
2. Also, it's usually possible to log into mql5.com in your web browser and download to MT5. A pop-up should appear and ask for authorization for MT5. This might be worth a try.

You need to have an account on the MQL5 community. Without it, you won't be able to download any Expert Advisors (EAs). Once your account is set up, the EA will be automatically installed in the "Market" folder on the MT5 platform.

also you have to place it in your installed EA folders in locals files

I am logged in, on the desktop version and online, but like I said no matter which one I choose nothing happens when I confirm the mql5 installation, usually there should appear a new downlaod or save as window, I guess??!! I also deactivated the firewall for testing...same :-(
