Adding External Link to a product description

I have a product which works if use with the proper strategy. but the strategy is in pdf format. I've already uploaded it in my Google Drive. 
can I put the Google Drive Link in my product description so people can download the strategy there? As I know the MQL has updated polices for the product descriptions denying including external links in
product descriptions. If I do add the link to the product description, will it cause the MQL to remove my product in the marketplace?

You have already answered your own question = NO. But now you want to know if it’s okay to break the rules!!!

Create a blog page and attach the file there in zip file.   Then add a link to the blog in the product description
