Who is blocking whom?
Is the service provider blocking MetaQuotes, or is MetaQuotes blocking your service provider?
Simplest solution, change your service provider to one that is neither blocking nor being blocked!

When trying to log in via the MQL5 terminal, I receive a 403 error (forbidden).

it is not a practical solution to migrate hosting providers or servers each time
Zomro provider with subnets has been blocked more than 4 years ago (post #19), and you registered on the forum 3 month ago only.
It was blocked in the beginning with 4 years ago (and I did 290 posts on the forum about error 403 ... and you did not read it? just to help yourself ... at least one post of 290 ... not? ...), and after that only - you start to use it ...

My suggestion: read this blog post to find the possible reason of this erorr - Summary: Installation Failed - Error 403 and more
and the following posts: about hosts file - post #3 with instruction about HowTo and this summary post: #1

Hi,
I've the same problem. I've two VPS-machines from a german VPS Provider (can I name it?). The Ip's of both VPS -machines are different. One is running Windows, the other debian, where I use crossover to run Metatrader. Suddenly it is not possible from both VPS -machines to connect to MQL5. I can open any other website, but not www.mql5.com on both machines. I've used also the debian browser, not only the browser inside the crossover bottle. So it is not a virus scanner or firewall issue.
I've opened a ticket in MQL5, the support team of MQL5 says: "Please change your VPS provider." I asked for an explanation, waiting currently for an answer.
But I assume, my VPS was blocked by MQL5. I've used https://www.iplocation.net/ip-lookup to check if my VPS provider is related to zomro, it is not. So I also asked my VPS provider, if they can help and wait for an answer. But I don't expect, that they can help.
I've bought a lot of EA's from the MQL5 marketplace, the connection to the marketplace is essential, it's unfair to customers to cut this connection without any explanation. They should bring out a white list or black list of VPS providers if they have to block some providers. As said above "it is not a practical solution to migrate hosting providers or servers each time MetaQuotes implements IP-based blocking, as this issue could potentially affect any provider's IP address."

My explanation (it is how I understand it):
I think - MetaQuotes is having MQL5 VPS and they do not want to be responsible for any external VPS'es ... if some external VPS providers are doing something against the company so the company is having the right to block them from the Market (not as competitor ... but as the providers which must not have any relationship with the Market for example).
------------------
My example: when I wanted to rent external VPS so I tested it first, I explained them about wat I need ...
If they told me -
- "WebView2? What is that?" or
- "why do you need 64-bit systems? you do not need it",
- "host file? some issue when you will install Metatrader from the brokers' websites? We do not know about this issue anything"
- and so on
- I never rent such a VPS.
Because I am simple user, and I can not be more professional person than the management/developers of external VPS providers which I am paying the money to.
Answer from MQL5 support: "Most of the VPS providers, provide trial periods. You may try."
My two VPS has worked for over two months, so MQL5 have just decided some days ago to block my provider. Even if it works in the trial period, how I can know that MQL5 don't later block again? Absolutely unsatisfying answer. What is the reason for these blockings?

Why? Because it is not - in most of the cases.
In most of the cases - the providers did something, for example - increase the security for all machines and so on - read post #15 and post #30 (I mean: MQL5 has nothing to do with many cases).

First of all - you must be sure that MQL5 blocked your provider.

I'm waiting for the answer from provider. But from this new answer from support, I must assume it's blocked:
Support: "It is physically not possible to know in advance if there will be any problems with a provider in future. We do not block just because we want that. There are certain reasons behind that, but we cannot tell them, sorry."
Metatrader itself is still running and the EA's also, it is connected to the broker. My VPS provider seems not to be a security issue for my broker. But I can't update an EA to the new version, because I can't download it.
I logged into my salary bank account, no problem. I would assume, that security issues of my bank or my broker are much higher than of MQL5. MQL5 provides a marketplace, I purchase an EA and that's all. With what could I or my VPS provider harm this company, that I've now to climb over this unexpected wall? If MQL5 don't want to tell the reason, how can I be sure that even my Home-PC will not be blocked in future?

Hi everyone,
I am experiencing a persistent issue with logging into MQL5 from a VPS rented from a provider under ASN AS197540. The problem:
I've seen various forum posts suggesting solutions like deleting certain folders or changing the password, but since a 403 error is a server-side block, these don't help.
Is there any way to contact someone from MQL5 directly, apart from the chatbot (which is not useful)?
Has anyone found a reliable workaround other than just waiting and hoping the block is lifted?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
